The first phase takes shape
Groundbreaking took place in August 2026. Excavation and levelling prepare a foundation sized for the entire 300 MW first phase, allowing subsequent buildings to be added on prepared ground. The site lies near the R6 corridor and Camp Bondsteel.
Built in 50 MW blocks
The plan uses prefabricated power, cooling and data-hall modules assembled on site. Its design follows NVIDIA’s Vera Rubin DSX architecture, with direct-to-chip liquid cooling. Vertiv provides critical infrastructure, while Black & White Engineering coordinates the design as owner’s engineer.
The delivery sequence
The construction permit has been issued and environmental scoping completed. Following excavation, the sequence includes the first slab pour and EPC award. Buildings and initial energization are targeted for 2027, with further 50 MW blocks bringing Phase 1 toward 300 MW during 2028. These dates remain project targets.
