Developing in parallel
Dardania AI presents Kosovo as an alternative to European hubs facing constrained electricity connections and lengthy development queues. Land, power arrangements, permitting and campus design can progress together. The Ferizaj site is planned for an eventual 1.2 GW.
Regional and international connections
The campus is close to Camp Bondsteel and has support from Kosovo’s government and the U.S. Embassy. Planned fiber connections link the region with major European markets. Dardania positions the location for customers seeking regional infrastructure and data sovereignty.
An investment in local capability
The company anticipates $5–8 billion or more of investment during the first four years and thousands of skilled jobs. Its plans include local hiring, technical training and an AI academy developed with a university. These are ambitions rather than completed outcomes.
A long-term proposition
The case for Kosovo also includes a euro-denominated economy, comparatively low development costs and government support. Together, these factors underpin Dardania’s strategy for expanding AI infrastructure in the Western Balkans.
